The polymerization of shellac can be accelerated by adding a small amount of urea. Adding 2% ~ 3% urea to the semen of shellac wine can improve the hardness, elasticity, abrasion resistance, water resistance and adhesion of the paint film. Shellac has good mechanical, thermal and electrical properties.
